During the process the patients check in to announce their arrival, wait in a virtual waiting room till consultation begins. The video call includes a multi-way video consulting capability, making it easy to include health specialists, translators, and family members who are in other locations.

GP on CALL service follows the applicable NHS Security Manual for cyber security guidelines and safeguards privacy leaving no digital footprint.

Data
GP on CALL does not store patient or call data, and the technology underpinning the service is developed and maintained in NHS.
FAQ
GP on CALL remote video consultations between Doctors and patient are technically possible and increasingly acceptable. They are being introduced in some settings alongside (and occasionally replacing) face-to-face or telephone consultations.
Yes, doctors will share Patient's information with their GP unless Patient specifically select to opt out during registration.
You will need a laptop or desktop with a camera and microphone in it. On our website Register and upload your documents on the website. Your documents will be checked for authenticity. If everything is in order you will be approved to use video doctor platform to consult with your patients.
Once a patient has booked an appointment-it will show on your home screen. When you click on the patient-their record will open and you can initiate a video consultation by clicking on the video icon.
Once the patient books, you can record history, examination, request investigations, prescribe medication and do referrals on the system. Only doctors and healthcare professionals can initiate the video call. Patient can only book/request appointments. They cannot call doctors.
